Dethonator opened Mearfest North this year They traveled all the way from the London Area to play at the God awful time of 12.10 in the Afternoon Add to that parking difficulties, rain, the journey and they were down to a three piece How did they cope with all these setbacks ? They plugged in, wearing Molly shirts stood proud and tall and played one of the best sets I've witnessed in years An incredible, modern sounding powerful true Heavy Metal band Their set was nothing short of perfection The sound was excellent courtesy of Dave Hills No fuss, no nonsense Just a brilliant powerful talented performance A crowd of 70 were already there cheering them on I stood and watched the whole set Molly was in pride of place I knew then and there we were in for the Day of a lifetime Afterwards they came off stage as soon as asked packed up and refused to take a single penny for all their efforts This is what makes me incredibly proud to be a Metal fan The connection, the unity. Dethonator remember the name folks If you're a promoter or run gigs anywhere in the country I can't recommend these guys enough. MAGNIFICENT !!! 10/10
