FRIDAY-I was having doubts about a very enormous and deeply personal project I have on the go right now. I had to post a mearfest t-shirt (thank you to Khalil Donaghey) and some tickets for our next event on the 13th October in South Shields. I took Amélie with me and we did our normal route. I always hand over any letters to our post office lady, along with the packages before they have been weighed. Today, I was drawn to post it in the letter box out side. I noticed a rock sitting on the top, nosey as ever I picked it up to have a good look. Imagine my surprise when I was holding this amazing piece of street art, painted with all the colours of the rainbow, very significant to Brian and myself with Amélie being our rainbow baby, but it had a specific message. This message is normally the same message I say to others .... BELIEVE A few years back a good friend of mine in California went round leaving pieces of anonymous art in her area, who ever picked it up could keep it. They all had supportive positive messages for the recipient. I wanted to find one of these here in the UK so much Finding this yesterday was a gift to me Whoever you are BUCKY ROCKS (we live in Buckinghamshire) THANK YOU THIS MADE MY DAY. Rainbows End by Brian Mear
You came to us at last Through blackened swollen heavens And dark tempestuous skies In a hundred forms of light you shone A spectrum of pure colour An Athenian angel formed and fused Within the cauldron of fire and hope Emblazoned with pure love Kissed by the lips of divinity
