FROM THE DARKNESS INTO THE LIGHT

Brian and I have been shortlisted for the Butterfly Awards this October, it is unfortunately the day before mearfest north, 19th October, so I am driving to Warwick on my own for the night, while Brian stays in Newcastle.

We have been nominated for 'Inspirational mother and father section. It is such an honour; we are both thrilled to have gotten to these final stages.

We have to submit a video to the judges and write a piece about who we are and what we do, and what difference we make to the world. The Butterfly awards are for regular people like us who have experienced or are working with the subject of stillbirth.

No one ever wishes to win awards for losing their baby, its such a wrench to write and compile a video, I have been in tears all weekend. But it also makes what we do worth it if we help just one couple through those hard times.

Please folks, I know you many have seen this video before; however, it has been redone from scratch, clearer images and it is now 2,33 minutes long a more doable watch. Could you do us the honour of clicking on to it. It is sad, but also uplifting.
