HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ME

Here’s my hand print, it’s very small
Unlike my sister Molly’s it's hardly known at all
My fingers on the outside are short, but the middle one is tall

My handprints are on shirts, where people rock and roll
I hang on banners high and touch both heart and soul

Amelie
You will find mine on windows and sticking to the wall
They will make a great big mess, from someone so very small
 
Molly
Mine are on record covers and even on a song
You told the world about me and all that went so wrong

Amelie
So here is one from me mummy, that you can’t wipe away
A Present from both your daughters, on this your Mother’s Day

I will always love you mummy,
I’ll be here in your heart and just like baby Amelie we will never be apart.
