THE GENESIS OF MEARFEST 2010.

Ten years ago today this photo was taken outside The Bridge house pub near Maidenhead. It was to announce the first ever Mearfest. I might look happy enough but 3 months earlier I had lost my Mum and inside I was devastated. The festival was held in her memory to raise funds for the Thames Valley Hospice.
We have all come a long way
This was the very beginning of turning loss into legacy.
