THE CRIMSON BRIGADE MEARFEST NORTH 2019

THANK YOver the past two years we have had one Extreme metal act on at every Mearfest show
It's not everyone's cup of tea by any means.
It's not mine either
I think it adds something to the day as well as having a Prog band or a blues band or solo guitarists.
This year I chose the Crimson Brigade to fill this roll.
We have seen them before with their full corpse paint, banners and special effects
They had a long journey and with traffic problems and parking difficulties they just got on stage in time.
They sadly didn't have time for all their stage set and make up so we had a rare stripped down, unmasked set.
They were brilliant ! with their drum machine and sound effects, their appearance and their performance you couldn't help but take notice
I think Claire Mear really liked them too which was a surprise to me.
The thing that stood out for me was that along with every other band that played that day they just got on with the job, didn't over run, didn't cause any difficulties , they came, we saw, they conquered!
